i dreamt once of staring into the eyes of a white vulture. i feel the white vulture describes my energy, as i cleanse and heal during this time of my life, as the vulture can self heal after exposure. i feel i have a good amount of healing energy. i have worked to be able to see deeply into many problems.

    I'm reading Against Capitalism by David Schweickart. It examines both conservative and liberal forms of capitalism, and makes a case for a new set of governing rules, known as Economic Democracy. Schweickart shows how many problems such as poverty, and environmental degradation can be alleviated under this model. This book is very carefully and comprehensively written, and I recommend it for those with an interest in the economic workings of our global society, and what changes could bring a less alienating system, that makes more rational sense.
